<strong>Examples:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Menus are usually give a first position on a webpage. With in a menu there are main pages and potentially hidden subpages.</li>
<li>Blogs and applications that feed in new information are often in reverse chronological order, giving importance to the most recent information.</li>
<li>In text, the order we read something affects our understanding.</li>
</ul>
<strong>Orientational:</strong>
Order is an effective way to create hierarchy to direct a user through the product or to show the importance of something. The most important steps might come first: this could be the most critical steps or the ones that the user might do the most frequently.
Often used in conjunction with <a href="../../45/scale/">scale</a>, weight, and <a href="../../9/color/">color</a> to show importance. |
